Looking for Dental Insurance with 100 percent reimbursement for all claims made

Sunday, Sep. 26th 2010 8:18 AM

I’ve been researching various dental insurance plans on line for weeks now trying to find a dental insurance plan that is really offers full coverage.  Reimbursing back 100% of all claims made.

All I seen are plans that split their covers to something like 80/100 preventive 60/80 basic and 40/50 majors.  That is just to give you an idea of the plans I have seen so far.  However, I have not seen any plans that offer 100% for all dental services.   Where would I find such a dental insurance plan and about how much would something like that cost.   Thanks

I do not know where you would be able to find a dental insurance plan that would pay 100 percent for all dental services render. If you could I would guess it would be rather pricey.

I guess it is possible there may be some group dental plans that pay out like that but you would get them though your job as employee benefits.

Full covered is a very loose term people like to use it but I have never seen where it has been applied, whether it is in dental insurance or any other type of insurance.

No such thing as I see it. Even dental insurance plans that say they do pay 100 percent for preventive dental services. They only pay 100 percent up to UCR or Fair and Reasonable.

Meaning if the cost for a dental service is more then the max they will cover up to you may still wine up owning money on the dental service.

What you are trying to do is to get a plan that best cover your dental needs. Review the plans, know the term and conditions. If you like a plan that will lay out your true cost for dental services you may like an HMO better since it states your cost for the dental services covered and you are not left guessing a dental services may really cost you.
